If you are like a lot of folks, you probably have a digital scale in your kitchen and bathroom. How much does a gram weigh? A gram? I don’t know why we all have such a thing, I mean it is a little bit silly to have a scale in every room of your house.
A digital scale measures how much something weighs. We all know the difference between a liter and a kilogram, but its not actually that important. I just don’t know why we have these scales, I mean I think I’m going to get a digital scale just to measure how much I eat.
Well, if you want to measure how much something weighs, you need to put it in a container and put it on the scale. Otherwise, not only are you not measuring, you are actually giving weight that you don’t know.
There are many reasons for weighing things, and most of them are personal preference. Some people like to see how much something weighs relative to the scale you have it on. Others like to see how much they weigh relative to the size of the container you are placing the weight on. Others like to see how much something weighs relative to the height of the person sitting in front of the scale. Some people like to see how much something weighs relative to how heavy they are.
Weight is one of those things that we tend to be overly familiar with; we’ve heard about it for years. I know for me personally, I’m pretty happy with the way I know how much I weigh on a digital scale. Most digital scales have two dials. The first dial is where the scale is set to weigh on a specific scale of your choosing, and that dial is set somewhere between 500 and a pound.
The second dial is where the scale is set to weigh on a specific scale of your choosing, and that dial is set somewhere between 1.5 and 5.0 pounds.
The first dial is the one you set on the scale, and is what tells the scale to weigh on that scale. The second dial is the one you set on the scale, and is what tells the scale to weigh on that scale. So, basically when you set the first dial, you can tell the scale to weigh on a specific scale of your choosing, and that scale will weigh on that specific scale a certain amount.
This may sound strange and counter-intuitive, but the scale on the digital scale has a fixed weight. The dials are set so that the scale will weigh on the same scale for a certain range of weights. A scale that sets the dials so they all weigh exactly the same can’t weigh anything. It can weigh the same amount of food, but it can’t weigh the same amount of water. If you set the scales to weigh exactly the same you get back two identical weights.
But it doesn’t work that way for the digital scale. We could say that the digital scale is set to weigh exactly one gram on it. But the dials set on the digital scale are set to weigh exactly one gram. So the resulting number is either zero or one. It doesn’t matter.
The digital scale, or the digital scale weight vs dials thing, is one of the most common examples of the “quantum mechanical” concept, also known as the “quantum fuzziness” of our everyday world. We use the scales that we own all the time, and we use the scales that we are given. The digital scale is a digital scale, and the dials are a dial. The digital scale does not really exist.
